Our Time with Highland Cows
Initially, I started to notice Highland Cows popping up everywhere we went for years. Then at some point we just started feeling like ok this is weird! Why are they EVERYWHERE lol. After so many jokes and randomly seeing painting, sculptures, pictures, plushies, socks, etc…We sort of just adopted them as ours.
For Ashley’s B-Day this year, I figured let’s try something new! So, I began to search for where we can finally see REAL Highland Cows up close and not just through a fence. After days and days of searching online, calling various places, and sending several emails to see if the places had them to touch or not (most didn’t or were in NorCal or TX), I ended up finding The Howe Ranch. It seemed to be everything I was looking for and only an hr and a half away from us!
The Howe Ranch’s Mini Moo Experience was Great! They were very knowledgeable about all the animals there, told us all their names which I wish I could remember them. All the subtle touches were great and being able to interact with all the animals, hands on with feeding them and brushing was amazing!
I wanted up close, and I got it!
